Climber dies in Mount Olympus fall
Authorities say a 40-year-old Greek man died Tuesday in an accident while climbing Mount Olympus, Greece's highest mountain.
The man was reportedly climbing what is known as Zerf's slab to the the 2,900-meter Skolio summit, when he slipped and dropped to his death. The circumstances leading to the accident are under investigation.
Rescuers were trying to reach the body and bring it down the mountain.
Fatal accidents on Mount Olympus occur almost every year.
