Police introduce ‘citizens’ hour’

Following the success of a two-month pilot program, the heads of police precincts around the country will be holding one-on-one meetings with citizens and civil society representatives to discuss policing matters.

The meetings, known as Citizens’ Hour, will take place every Monday between 6-8 p.m. and are designed to give police chiefs a better understanding of their community’s concerns and opinions on policing practices.
