Three arrested in northern Greece on drug related charges
Police Monday made three drug arrests, two of which involved cannabis farmers and all of which were in northern Greece.
The first was that of a 64-year-old man who was discovered tending to 34 cannabis plants at a farm in Alexandroupoli.
The second suspect, aged 56, was arrested in Veria after three cannabis bushes were found on his property and 800 grams of the plant in a drying shed.
Another man, aged 52, was detained in Preveza after being found in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and an unlicensed pistol.
