Missing French tourist found dead on Crete
A 75-year-old French tourist who went missing on Crete has been found dead in a ravine on the island.
Authorities said that the found the unnamed man’s body a few kilometres from a car he had rented on his first day in Crete.
The man arrived on the island on October 2 and checked in at a hotel in the resort of Platys Gialos. The next day he hired a car to tour the island and was not seen subsequently.
Meanwhile, a 66-year-old man who went missing from his home in Pilio on Friday was found safe on Sunday.
