MPs to decide whether minister should face prosecution over wealth form
The Supreme Court forwarded a case file regarding State Minister Alekos Flambouraris to Parliament on Tuesday.
The file was put together after a citizen took legal action in the wake of allegations regarding the minister’s derivation of wealth declaration (“pothen esches”) and his involvement in a construction firm that won a contract from the Peloponnese Regional Authority.
MPs will now have to decide whether the minister’s immunity from prosecution should be lifted.
