Deadline for second installment of property tax extended by two days

The Finance Ministry said on Monday that it is extending until Wednesday the deadline for property owners to pay the second installment of the ENFIA tax.

The deadline for the payment had been Monday afternoon but the ministry said that it is adding two days because of maintenance and upgrade work on the online Taxisnet system.

The government is aiming to collect 2.6 billion euros in revenues from the ENFIA tax on homes, businesses and land. Owners can pay their tax in five monthly instalments.
