Seamens’ pension fund workers hold new strike

Employees at the Seamen’s Pension Fund (NAT) decided on Thursday to launch a new strike against the government’s proposals for reforming the social security system.

This means that the staff will walk out on Friday and on Monday, following another two-day strike earlier this week.

The employees are due to meet again on Monday to decide whether they will take further action.
