Woman, 59, dies in Piraeus robbery
A 59-year-old woman who died during a robbery at her home in Piraeus on Saturday night choked to death, according to a coroner’s report.
Authorities said that three assailants bound and gagged the woman as she entered her fifth-floor apartment after a night out with her husband, who was looking for a space to park the couple’s car.
Her husband was also tied up when he arrived. The robbers took valuables and cash from the property.
