Increasing danger

The incidents of violent behavior which occurred during the mobilization of protesting farmers in the Greek capital Friday are simply unacceptable.

The Greek state cannot tolerate such actions, no matter how angry farmers may feel about the coalition government’s fake promises.

Perhaps Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and other top government officials, who in past years went beyond the limits and aligned themselves with the most extreme elements during similar rallies, are coming to realize this now.

As we have already pointed out, and will continue to do so, the country again finds itself on a very dangerous path.

If things do not change, it will no longer matter who is governing the country or who is in the opposition, because it will be impossible to govern the country, let alone have the most necessary measures approved.
