Winter sales turnover posts annual drop of more than 20 pct

Stores have suffered a further drop in turnover over the winter sales, which end on Monday, as retailers estimate it has dropped 20.8 percent compared to last year.

The estimates collected by the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Enterprises (ESEE) would take turnover to 4.49 billion euros.
