Police seek escaped convict who seriously wounded drug addict in Neo Iraklio
Police launched a manhunt on Wednesday for an escaped convict who shot and seriously wounded a drug addict in an apartment in Neo Iraklio, northern Athens, after a disagreement over drugs.
The 50-year-old man, described by police as “dangerous,” was serving two life terms for the murder of two police officers in 1990 and shot the addict after failing to return to prison following a five-day furlough.
