Comicdom Con Athens | Athens | To April 17
Comicdom Con Athens 2016 events will be taking place in a number of venues across the city through Sunday, April 17. Besides its customary home, the Hellenic American Union, the annual comics festival is adding two new venues this year: the French Institute and the City of Athens Cultural Center on Academias Street. Events take place indoors as well as outdoors. The festival’s international guests include Britain’s Charlie Adlard, known for his “The Walking Dead” comic series, and South Korean manga artist and Kyoto Seika University researcher Sookyung Yoo. There will be comics exhibitions, screenings, workshops, a Greek comics bazaar and events for children. For more information on the event, visit www.comicdom-con.gr.
