Claims of medicines shortage to be investigated

The First Instance Prosecutor’s Office in Athens launched a preliminary investigation on Monday into claims that there have been shortages of some medicines in Greece.
The probe was instigated after complaints from the Panhellenic Pharmacists’ Association.
The purpose of the preliminary investigation will be to establish whether the allegations are accurate and, if so, who is to blame for the shortages.
