Verdi’s Requiem | Athens | April 27
The Athens Concert Hall presents Giuseppe Verdi’s “Requiem” performed by the Athens State Orchestra on Wednesday, April 27. The performance also features soprano Ursula Targler-Sell, mezzo-soprano Manuela Bress, tenor Mario Zeffiri and bass Petros Magoulas The ensemble is led by Marcus Bosch. The concert, which features Greek surtitles, starts at 8.30 p.m. while an introductory talk for ticket-holders takes place at 7.45 p.m. Admission ranges from 11 to 40 euros.
