The National Council on Foreign Policy (NCFP) will convene at the Foreign Ministry at 12 noon under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias. The main subject of the meeting will be Greek-Turkish relations.

The Panathenaic Stadium in Athens will host the Olympic Flame Handover Ceremony for the Rio 2016 Games at 5 p.m., in the presence of Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Brazilian Minister for Sports Ricardo Leyser. The event will include a program of dancing and music. Admission is free.

THURSDAY

Blue-chip company Viohalco will release its financial figures for 2015.

The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) will issue its February data on retail commerce turnover and its March statistics on industrial producer prices.

FRIDAY

Stores will be open from 1-7 p.m. due to the Greek Orthodox Easter holiday. The stock market will be closed, reopening on Wednesday, May 4.

SATURDAY

Stores will close at 3 p.m. and will not reopen until May 4 due to the Greek Orthodox Easter holiday and Labor Day.
