Patra authorities detain woman whose dog bit passer-by
Coast guard officers in Patra detained a 23-year-old woman on Sunday after her pitbull bit a 30-year-old woman on the leg on the seafront at Aghios Nikolaos under circumstances that remained unclear.
The 23-year-old had been walking her dog on a leash when the animal attacked the older woman, wounding her on the left leg.
The 30-year-old was transferred to the hospital for treatment to injuries that were not said to be serious.
