The 13th Thessaloniki International Book Fair takes place at the northern port city’s Helexpo exhibition center from May 12 to 15. This year’s event showcases two special tributes: one to Russian literature, as part of events comprising the Year of Greek-Russian Friendship and another to past and present refugee crises. The festival brings together publishers and authors from 20 countries. Also on the event’s agenda is a mini-festival celebrating the art of translation. Admission is free.
