Police crack down on ring stealing trucks in central Greece
Police Friday made a serious dent in a crime ring that has stolen at least seven trucks in central Greece, with the arrest of four people while another four are being sought.
The suspects are accused of stealing trucks in the towns of Mesolongi, Aitoliko, Neohori and Katohi and driving them to Aigio, near Patra and Aspropyrgos in Attica, where they would either use them for spare parts or put them back into circulation after forging new registration codes and license plates.
