Mobile unit of Greek Police expanded to more parts of Greece
The Greek Police (ELAS) is extending its network of mobile units to serve citizens in parts of the country that need an enhanced police presence.
The scheme, which already operates on some of Greece’s islands, will be extended to include 21 new regions: Aetoloacarnania, Achaia, Ilia, Iraklio, Lasithi, Rethymno, Hania, Kilkis, Halkidiki, Kozani, Kastoria, Florina, Karditsa, Trikala, Rodopi, Alexandroupoli, Orestiada, Thesprotia, Fokida, Evrytania and Megara.
