New Democracy slams government over Eurogroup deal

New Democracy has accused the government of securing an unsatisfying deal at Tuesday’s Eurogroup.

The conservatives issued a statement early Wednesday arguing that the coalition “handed over everything and got nothing in return.”

The opposition party focussed on the fact the disbursement of 10.3 billion euros in funds will take place in stages and be contingent upon Greece clearing more milestones.

It also described the lenders’ commitment to debt relief as “vague.”
