Refugees: Escape to Freedom? | Athens | May 29 – June 1

In association with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the Regional Authority of Attica, the Greek Film Archive is organizing a tribute to films and documentaries focusing on refugee issues. The event – “Refugees: Escape To Freedom?” – runs from Sunday, May 29, to Wednesday, June 1. The event opens with Ahmed Abdullahi, David Aronowitsch, Sharmarke Binyusuf and Anna Persson's “I am Dublin.” Abdullahi and Aronowitsch will take part in a Q&A discussion. Other films set to be screened include Mani Y Benchelah's “This Is Exile: Diaries of Child Refugees” and Andreas Koefoed's “At Home In The World.”
