Community Connect Athens meets on Wednesday, June 8, at St Paul’s Garden, the Swedish Center, in Plaka. There will be coffee, cake and bingo, as well as a sale of books, DVDs, CDs, handmade greetings cards, quality used clothing, Swedish delicacies and homemade preserves. Proceeds benefit the Anglican Church in Athens and its nominated charities. The organizers are also collecting postage stamps for the Brittle Bone Society and plastic bottle tops to raise money to buy wheelchairs for those in need.
