Staff at state hospitals to hold 24-hour strike to protest austerity impact
Doctors and nurses employed at state hospitals, as well as ambulance workers, are to walk off the job on Wednesday to protest spending cuts and staff shortages in the health sector.
The union said a demonstration will take place outside the Health Ministry at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
