Public transport walkout moved forward a day

Fixed-track public transport in Athens is expected to be disrupted on Thursday as a work stoppage, initially announced for Friday, will take place from noon to 5 p.m. instead.

The industrial action has been called by unions representing Athens metro, Kifissia-Piraeus electric railway (ISAP) and tram employees.
