French-Canadian pianist Alain Lefevre joins the Athens State Orchestra under the baton of Stefanos Tsialis at the Herod Atticus Theater on Monday, June 27. The evening’s program includes works by Rachmaninoff and Dvorak, as well as the world premiere of “Apofonisis,” a new work by young Greek composer Orestis Papaioannou. The concert is set to start at 9 p.m. Admission ranges from 10 to 30 euros. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online as well as at the festival’s box offices at 39 Panepistimiou St, inside the arcade (open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagitou St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily).
