Greek PMI reverts to positive territory in June

The June reading of the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) compiled by Markit showed a return to marginal growth in manufacturing at 50.4 points, supported by the first increase in output during 2016 and the biggest rise in employment since July 2007.

However, Markit noted that conditions surrounding demand remained particularly vulnerable as new orders were once again reduced due to the largely negative economic climate and the strikes at the country’s ports.
