Two detained on drug charges
Police on Thursday detained two Greek men, aged 49 and 61, in connection with quantities of cocaine and cannabis seized from an apartment in Kaisariani, eastern Athens.
Officers confiscated more than 1 kilogram of cocaine, another kilogram of cannabis and a kilogram of unidentified white powder which the pair are believed to have used to cut the drugs before packaging them for resale.
The two men made an estimated 75,000 euros in profits from drug dealing, according to police sources. They were to face a prosecutor later in the day.
