Twelve hurt, one critically, in collision near Agrinio

At least 12 people were injured, one of them critically, on the outskirts of Agrinio in western Greece Thursday, when a minibus crashed into the back of a truck.

The driver of the KTEL intercity minibus suffered the worst injuries and had to be cut out from the wreckage of the vehicle by firefighters. Two children, aged 11 and 17, are also among the injured.

An investigation was launched to determine why the minibus crashed into the truck near the junction for Agrinio on the Antirio-Ioannina national highway.
