Actors bring ‘Oedipus Rex’ to Syntagma metro station
Greek National Theater actors perform scenes from Sophocles’s "Oedipus Rex" for commuters inside Syntagma metro station Thursday. The play will be performed at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus on July 29 and 30 under the direction of Lithuanian Rimas Tuminas. The co-production, between the GNT and Russia’s Theater Vakhtangov, features both Greek and Russian actors with Russia’s Viktor Dobronravov in the title role.
