Turkish fighter jets violate Greek air space 16 times

Greek military officials said that Turkish military aircraft made 16 incursions into Greek air space on Thursday.

Eight Turkish aircraft violated Greek national air space in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean.

Six of the planes were in formation and the other two flying separately. Two of the aircraft were armed, according to Greek defense officials who said there were no dogfights and that Greek fighter jets chased the Turkish aircraft away.
