Aegean Airlines cancels flights to and from Istanbul, Izmir

Aegean Airlines has announced the cancellation of flights to and from Istanbul and Izmir on Saturday, July 16. The announcement followed news of an attempted coup in Turkey late on Friday.

According to reports, Istanbul's Ataturk airport had closed down.

Meanwhile, the Greek airline advised travelers to visit www.aegeanair.com for updates.
