Afghan teen injured in Piraeus port brawl
A 16-year-old Afghan migrant was injured in a brawl at the port of Piraeus on Friday. According to reports on Saturday, the incident occurred during an altercation between a group of migrants staying in a warehouse at the city’s main port area.
The injured teen was taken to a local hospital and was later released. Police were questioning a 14-year-old Afghan in relation to the brawl.
The incident occurred a day after an Afghan man was fatally stabbed and beaten during a fight with a group of his compatriots at a refugee and migrant reception center at the site of the former Athens airport in Elliniko last Thursday.
