Firefighters battle forest fire on Vermion mountains
Firemen in the area of Dovras in the municipality of Veria, in northern Greece, were battling a forest fire which broke out on Vermion Mountains at 11.30 a.m. on Monday.
According to the fire service, 11 fire engines, a helicopter and two Canadair planes were taking part in the efforts to put out the blaze.
