Cocaine smuggler nabbed at Athens International Airport
A 24-year-old Venezuelan woman faced an Athens prosecutor on Monday on charges of drug smuggling after officers at Athens International Airport discovered that she had swallowed nearly a kilogram of cocaine.
The woman, who arrived at Athens airport aboard a flight from Sao Paulo with a stopover at Dubai, had swallowed 100 packages of cocaine weighing a total of 965 grams, according to police sources.
