Firemen, soldiers battling blaze on Crete
Three helicopters, 24 fire engines, 60 firefighters and 30 soldiers on Tuesday were helping battle a fire that broke out in the area of Kali Achlada, near the Selakanos forest in Ierapetra, southern Crete, late on Monday.
According to the fire service, the blaze was heading toward the area of Males but no residential areas were being threatened.
