La Belle Helene | Athens | July 22-23
The City of Athens Symphony Orchestra and Choir present Jacques Offenbach’s opera buffa “La belle Helene” at the Kolonos Open Theater, near central Athens, on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23. The production is directed by Isidoros Sideris and the ensembles are conducted by Michalis Economou. Shows start at 9 p.m. There is no admission fee but members of the public are invited to contribute non-perishable food that goes in aid of poor families.
