Two Syrians arrested at airport with forged documents

Two Syrians were arrested on Thursday while trying to board flights from Iraklio airport on Crete with forged travel documents. A 20-year-old man tried to use fake Belgian papers to fly to Germany and a 25-year-old woman, accompanied by a young child, showed a fake Norwegian passport in an attempt to get on a flight to Switzerland.

Also on Thursday, two Iraqis aged 20 and 23 were arrested at the airport on the island of Kos after trying to catch a plane to Italy while using forged Italian identification cards.
