Baby girl attacked by Rottweiler on Crete transferred to Athens
A 20-month old girl was transferred from Crete to Athens on board a Greek air force plane late Wednesday in order to undergo surgery after being attacked by a Rottweiler earlier in the week.
The toddler sustained serious injuries following the attack by the Rottweiler, reportedly a family dog, in Aghios Nikolaos. She was treated in two local health facilities before medical staff deemed it necessary for her to be transferred to the Aghia Sofia for eye surgery.
