Olympic Air launching Thessaloniki-Paros service
Olympic Air on Friday unveiled a new service linking the northern port city of Thessaloniki with Paros, starting on Thursday, on the occasion of the official inauguration of the new airport on the Cycladic island.
The carrier added that the expanded airstrip allows it to operate bigger aircraft that will allow it to increase seat capacity to Paros in August and September.
The new airport is expected to increase arrivals by 150,000 passengers per year.
Olympic contributed significantly to work for the new airstrip.
