Man dies after falling on tracks and is dragged by train
The body of a man who fell on the tracks at the Omonia station of the Kifissia-Piraeus ISAP electric railway shortly after midnight and was subsequently dragged by a passing train was recovered by firefighters early on Tuesday, authorities said.
The man was transferred to a local hospital where medical staff pronounced him dead.
A police investigation was launched to determine the cause of the accident.
