Education ministry to cover cost of ‘No Border Camp’ damage to university facilities

The Greek Ministry of Education was expected to provide the sum of 40,000 euros for the repairs of damages caused to Aristotle University facilities by activists who participated in the unauthorized, pro-migrant “No Border Camp Thessaloniki” recently.

According to Kathimerini sources, the decision was taken by Alternate Education Minister Sia Anagnostopoulou, Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos and Education Ministry general secretary Yiannis Pantis following discussions with Aristotle University rector Pericles Mitkas.
