Antetokounmpo brothers take enlistment oath
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, aka the Greek Freak, and his older sibling, Thanasis, a free agent, are seen taking their oath of enlistment Friday at the armor training center in Avlonas, east Attica. The two brothers are expected to make use of their legal right to request to have their compulsory military service deferred due to professional obligations abroad. The Antetokounmpos received Greek citizenship in 2013. Their parents Veronica and Charles decided to immigrate to Greece in 1991 due to Nigeria’s troubled economy.
