Greek tax inspectors fine cheats on Corfu

Inspectors from Greece's General Secretariat of Public Revenues have fined the owners of a cafe operating inside the premises of the Intercity (KTEL) bus depot on the Ionian island of Corfu nearly 8,000 euros for tax evasion, while also shutting down the business for 48 hours.

An inspection of the business found that the owners had installed custom-made software linked to their cash register that would delete all intakes at the close of business every night.
