Aftershock activity continues in Ioannina
A mild earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit Ioannina, northwestern Greece, early on Thursday, the Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics reported.
According to the institute, the tremor was part of aftershock activity following a 5.2 earthquake that shook the area last Saturday.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage following Thursday’s quake.
