ECB keeps ELA ceiling for Greek banks unchanged

The European Central Bank kept the emergency liquidity assistance (ELA) ceiling for Greek banks unchanged at 51.8 billion euros on Thursday, the Bank of Greece announced in a statement. The order was valid through November 2.

The unchanged ceiling reflected “the stabilization of the liquidity situation of Greek banks, taking into account private sector deposit flows,” the statement said.
