Creditors, Greek officials to focus on budget for 2017

Government officials and envoys representing Greece's international creditors are to discuss the forecasts for next year's budget in the coming days, it emerged on Monday.

A discussion on Monday on fiscal issues led the two sides to agree on an exchange of information as regards fiscal progress and targets, sources said.

Greek officials and foreign auditors had their first substantial discussion on Sunday, with reports of disagreements on key issues, and talks are to continue until Friday.
