Woman arrested over illegal weapons hoard on Crete
A woman was arrested in Rethymno on the island of Crete on Sunday for the illegal posession of guns and ammunition.
In a raid of the 52-year-old suspect’s farm in the Milopotamos region, police said they found two pistols, 2,426 cartridges of various sizes, a sword and hunting rifles.
She was to appear before a local prosecutor.
