Woman killed by train in Imathia
A young woman died on Saturday night after being hit by a passing Trainose train in Imathia, northern Greece, local authorities said.
Initial reports suggested the incident took place between the areas of Palaiohori and Alexandreia.
An investigation was under way to determine the precise cause of the fatal accident.
A similar accident occurred last month when a 17-year-old man was fatally injured by a passing train in the area of Plati.
