Community Connect Athens meets for coffee and cake at the Swedish Center in central Athens on Wednesday, November 9. Participants may also stock up on books, DVDs and CDs, as well as handmade greetings cards, quality used garments and homemade preserves. Proceeds benefit the Anglican Church in Athens and its nominated charities. A collection of used postage stamps benefits the Brittle Bone Society, while plastic bottle tops aid the purchase of wheelchairs.
