The Extraordinary Italian Taste | Athens | November 21

The Italian Cultural Institute in Athens is hosting a series of events as part of the “The Extraordinary Italian Taste” culinary festival, including screenings of Italian films and documentaries. Events take place from Monday, November 21, to Friday, November 25 and admission to screenings is free of charge. Screenings include Ettore Scola’s “La Cena” (1998), Ermanno Olmi’s “Lunga vita alla Signora!” (1987) and Alessandro Piva’s documentary “Pasta Nera” (2011). Screenings are accompanied by English subtitles. On Thursday, November 24, Nikos Moschonas will deliver a lecture on the subject of “The Venetians and Oriental Wines in the 15th and 16th Centuries,” starting at 7 p.m. An Italian wines tasting session will follow.
